Ptolemy, Copernicus, Brahe, Kepler, & Galileo

 

 

For centuries people believed the earth was the center of the universe and all the planets and stars revolved around us. This month we take a look back at the astronomical contributions of the "Giants" that helped to change our thinking about our celestial surroundings. We'll learn what important discovery each brought to astronomical table and also why many of these discoveries were originally rejected.
